If you have amazing eyebrows, how did you get them?

I see so many people with lovely, neat eyebrows. Not the big HD caterpillars, just very tidy brows which have obviously had some kind of cosmetic ‘intervention’ more significant than plucking Grin

My brows are fine and quite blonde. I currently use a brush then pencil them in with a dark blonde crayon thing. They look ok but not amazing.

I’ve heard about microblading. Is this what I need? I’ve had them shaped and tinted before and they look naice but it doesn’t fatten them up enough or last long enough. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have my eyebrows "powder brows" it's the filled in look, where as microblading is hair strokes. I get complimented on them a lot. Best thing I've done and will continue to get them done. It's a little sore like pinging elastic off your eyebrow for a hour. I researched for about a year before taking the plunge and getting them done

Had mine semi permanently tattooed on. I had nothing there. They look amazing now and I'm confident! Expensive but worth every penny!

Painful to have done though!

I've had both microblading and powder brows over the last ten years, I'd say I neither were that painful, and I'm not great with pain. Most practicing people use a numbing cream not perfect but helps. I'd say I love the microblading results in the first few weeks but faxes fast on me and has left minor scaring but the powerbrows last year's longer but maybe only a 7.5 out of 10 on the perfect brow scale for me. Obviously this is just my experience and I sought out best in the business in my region for both types.

I should add my permanent eyeliner is flipping amazing though! Best beauty descsion ever! Perfect flicky liner 24/7

Definitely microblading. I had mine done just before chemo last year (although my brows were always sparse) and I'm so glad I did. The woman who did it was brilliant, showed me lots of before and after pics and asked me what I liked. I didn't want an over obvious result, just natural looking good eyebrows and I'm so pleased with them. She used a combination of microblading and filling in. You have two sessions, the second one is the top up, I had to wait 3 months after chemo finished for that. Total £150, she said it should last 18 months to 2 years, a lot depends on your skin and how well you look after them for the first few weeks. (This was half price which is what she charges if you are having chemo) It does hurt a bit, nothing like childbirth though! It takes quite a long time, so it's continuous tiny cuts and little stings which gets a bit much towards the end, I have had my brows tinted before but this was a million times better. They still look really good and I had them done last Jan and topped up in August.
