Black casual coat

Can anybody help me? I'm after a black coat - not wool, not a leather jacket, not a biker, more a parka casual coat for school runs to wear with jeans...any ideas?

I have a black parka from fishtailparkas.com, it is bloody great. Really warm but you can take the lining out so it's a lighter jacket for spring, you can also remove the hood. Mine is as good as new after a few years of heavy use.
