New top:

I love it but DH is unsure. Need your opinions please? Both sleeves are the same. Thank you.

Sorry, it definitely looks cheap to me but we all like different things so as the above PP said, feel free to ignore me. It's not like it's in any way offensive so wear whatever makes you feel good!

emma1282 · 05/10/2017 11:01

I actually like it because its different. But it would look even better if the net is on the upper arms and not on the elbow.

That said, to me its Yay as its different :-)

BulletFox · 05/10/2017 11:08

Looks nice on you

SelmaAndJubjub · 05/10/2017 11:10

It’s a bit ‘1980s Cher in her goth phase’. Sorry.

AnnabelleLecter · 05/10/2017 11:11

Yay

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 05/10/2017 11:18

I think it looks nice. Not the style that I would wear but you're young enough and have a nice figure. Go for it!

Opheliasgoldenwine · 05/10/2017 11:34

Sorry Grin

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I'm gutsy enough to wear it given the criticism but thank you all anyway :)

Nay from me, dislike the sleeves. You look like you have a good figure so there will be much nicer stuff that will suit you.

Honestly if the sleeves were plain black it would look nicer.

User5trillion · 05/10/2017 12:19

As wanky sleeves go its great. I am 10 years older than you and would wear it. Its a yes from me.

SleepFreeZone · 05/10/2017 12:21

It's the sleeves that make it look a bit marker stall. If you are gorgeous and sassy though and funk it up then I'm sure it will look grand.

loveinanelevator · 05/10/2017 13:24

I love it

HeadfirstForHalos · 05/10/2017 13:33

I like it. It's a bit rock/alternative, I'd wear it on a night out if I had your lovely figure

Cocolepew · 05/10/2017 13:36

If you love it that's all that matters.

ephemeralfairy · 05/10/2017 13:40

I'm 36 and I'd wear it. I really like it! Where's it from?

TSSDNCOP · 05/10/2017 13:42

I'd wear it if I was 27 and liked it.

HippadoppaloppaGammeldag · 05/10/2017 14:30

Nay, it's horrible, sorry OP. It looks cheap & tacky.

polyhymnia · 05/10/2017 14:32

Have to agree. Those sleeves look really cheap and tacky.

zippyswife · 05/10/2017 15:01

You have a great figure and you’re young. Wear it if you like it!! (Im not a fan but I’m a lot older than you and wouldn’t have a clue about young fashion!!)

JaniceBattersby · 05/10/2017 15:14

My litmus test is 'would Liz McDonald wear it?'

If the answer is yes, then I'm not going to wear it.

Sorry OP, but I think our Liz would love that top.

zippyswife · 05/10/2017 17:59

Ha! I love your Liz litmus test! And I agree she’d love that top!

Thirtyrock39 · 05/10/2017 18:01

Not with jeans (looks a bit 80s soft rock) but would be fine with smart black trousers or skirt

Hairq · 05/10/2017 18:26

You have a fabulous figure so it doesn't make your body like l bad, but it does look like the sort of naff top that is usually accessorised with orange fake tan, a lot of cheap gold jewellery and really long bright coral false nails.

Hairq · 05/10/2017 18:27

Have just seen the Liz McDonald test comment and basically yeah, that.

TheDowagerCuntess · 05/10/2017 18:28

If you're keen to wear stuff that you might not otherwise have been able to, there's loads of better stuff out there than that top. Flowers
