Boots with leggings

I'm pregnant and currently spending nearly everyday in leggings and long tops. I have been wearing my trainers so far but starting to get a bit chilly so I want some nice boots that I can wear with leggings. Preferably without any heel at all and as comfy as possible! Has anyone found/got such boots??

I remember being pregnant one winter and wearing M & S foxglove ones, don't know if they do them now, also uggs

IHaveBrilloHair · 04/10/2017 15:43

I have blowfish ones, rocket dogs would fit the bill too, and uggs.

delilahbucket · 04/10/2017 15:50

I lived in Uggs when pregnant as they were wide enough to fit my swollen feet into Blush. I do have some Next knee boots at the moment that are flat and I go everywhere in them when it's cold. They are super comfy.

I was trying to avoid ugg boots as I find they look quite sloppy after a while! Think I'm very heavy footed and struggle with the lack of support! I might have a look at ugg boots that are leather and more boot like!

I have ugg boots that don't look like the traditional ugg. People are always surprised they are uggs. Have a look at their website.

I love my Ugg Wilcox boots. They're leather and shower resistant so good for this weather and oh, the sheepskin lining is like heaven to slip your feet into!

WhooooAmI24601 · 04/10/2017 19:29

I second the Ugg Wilcox, they're fabulous.

The other place that does great ankle boots is Tommy Hilfiger. I bought these in the sale and love them (though appreciate the stars make me look like a 5 year old). Their biker boots are always brilliant for winter and the soles never wear down.

Chelsea boots. They come in all budgets. I like the ones that are out at the moment with all the studs & buckles.

I got a lovely pair of long leather boots from Tu at Sainsbury's in the sale a couple of years ago and I've worn them a lot since then - I've just had them resoled and heeled (that was more than they originally cost!) to make them last a bit longer as they're probably the nicest boots I've ever had. They're a riding boot style with a flat heel, and look really good with leggings. I have them in brown, but I think they come in black too.

I think they have a similar style on sale this year and I'm debating getting another pair, just to replace these when they inevitably wear out.

MynewnameisKy · 04/10/2017 19:54

I have Caprice boots. They are in there third winter and loads of wear left. Very comfy.

Ttbb · 04/10/2017 19:55

Don't wear uggs outside the house please. They are slippers-not actual shoes. Bertie boots are usually very comfy, not sure if they have any with a heel though. Should do surely.

Meepmoop · 04/10/2017 19:59

I have Celtic boots (aviator style ones) they're like uggs but have a sturdier sole/bottoms.

I love polo lions boots- they're reasonably smart and so comfy. I wear them with everything ;)

tinygirlsmum · 04/10/2017 20:03

I lived in black timberlands when I was pregnant, and for the winter afterwards. In fact, you've reminded me to dog them out again now!

fuzzyfozzy · 04/10/2017 20:05

I second the fly boots. So comfy

MagicFajita · 04/10/2017 20:05

What about a nice flat leather biker boot?

emma1282 · 04/10/2017 20:15

Since you mentioned about going for a non-heel one, I suggest you go for ankle boots. A black one would be a good one to wear with leggings. Ankle boots are small and not very high in terms of heels. So, you will feel comfortable as well while walking.

I have "Country boots". Mine are by Dublin River. Super comfy and waterproof as wellies. Perfect.

jarox · 04/10/2017 20:35

Thanks all, just had a quick look and like the look of the ugg Wilcox and they are on sale!! Does anyone know what sizes are like? I know ugg sizes are different but can't remember what I'd need, i'm a size 6!

OP posts:
cowbag1 · 04/10/2017 22:23

I'm a size 7 normally and mine are a 7.5 which fit fine.

affectionincoldclimate · 04/10/2017 23:48

Hudson Horrigan - I lived in these in pregnancy and still do now. They are stylish, extremely comfortable, last years and have a neutral design that means they can be worn with anything. That Cuban heel is very comfy and practical as personally I find completely flat boots uncomfortable.

You can hunt them down at a better price on eBay too.
