Powder for wedding make up

Can anyone recommend a powder that I could use to finish my wedding make up please. I have read great things about the Laura mercier translucent loose powder but it's just so expensive!

Came on here to recommend the Laura Mercier one - sorry! It's great, wore it on my wedding day too.

Otherwise Clinique translucent is good, or (still expensive) Charlotte Tilbury is excellent

The Charlotte Tilbury one is my absolute favourite. I also have the Laura Mercier loose powder and it's good, but CT definitely beats it.

Bourjois Silk powder compactl
I've spent a fortune on compact over the years and this is as good as the more expensive ones.

I have the Chanel loose one and find it very good. Doesn't cake at all.

Callamia · 03/10/2017 19:36

I used a Chanel powder on my wedding day, and it was excellent.
I use Laura Mercier make-up now though - it's completely worth the money.

Bourjois Pouder de Riz is a lovely, effective and budget-friendly option. Enjoy your day x x x

I came on to say Laura Mercier too! It really is fab and worth the money.

Bobbi Brown Brightening Finishing Powder works really well - adds a glowy finish without being overly pearlescent or shiny looking.

Thank you for all the replies, looks like it's worth forking out for it then! On the subject of wedding make up what did everyone use for their foundation?

Coty Airspun loose powder is supposed to be amazing.
