Ongoing search for high spf , mineral based, not tinted.

I've used Clinique City Block for decades. But the SPF 40 is really yellow on my skin (i'm very pale and it makes my foundation darker.)

I have used Bare Minerals prep step spf 50 - very nice at first but so oily my foundation slips off .

Got one LRP tube spf50 but it's a white cream and pills.

Have a very pricy Skinceuticals but it's not mineral based and have read chemical types can be ageing (ironically.)

I want a high spf that is not tinted, ideally high zinc oxide, can be worn under make up so what is there out there?

I use an untinted SPF50 that costs £1 from Poundland and is as good as the pricey Nivea one I used to use. I think the brand is Tropic Malibu and it comes in a small white tube.

Neostrata SPF is very good. It's not really tinted, but not bright white on your face either.

Also Moogoo is nice.

Organii SPF50 goes on like a nice light face cream, really nice I am a complete sunscreen geek

I am on the hunt for a similar sunscreen! Currently using bareminerals but the colour isnt quite right for me so next on my list to try is bioderma photoderm mineral spray. I will spray it into my hands first then apply.

Am going to add the moogoo to my list of ones to try!

Not sure if the BS one is mineral but it's not white- skin defence one

Some Badger Company products are designed to wear under make-up if you want non-nano. Otherwise maybe Green People...?

Adarajames · 03/10/2017 00:55

Jason - organic, chemical free, white and smells great

A second vote for Neostrata. Only sunscreen I've rebought.

I found the Bare Minerals one very oily and weirdly gritty & I have a face like the Sahara desert.
