What do we think of these boots? I can't find anything that's right

I want high-ish, warm-ish winter boots with a low heel or wedge in navy or grey (or muted tan or stone type colour).

They don't exist. They didn't exist last winter.

Are these boden ones okay, or horrible?

I've been drooling over them for some time 24 hours, it's all enbrogue's fault. They are the least practical shoes ever, well apart from the feathered mules from the same company which DH has offered to get me for Christmas does a happy dance.

All lace boots now have zips including the ones I posted above.
