Leather leggings #2 longer tops

Have posted previously / Black ones from hush arrived - same issue as baukjen ones.

I think it's just my flack tummy sadly - I don't think why leggings are going to sort it.

So as I love the colour of the baukjen ones I retried with long tops.

What are you asking?

OhWellNeverMindEh · 01/10/2017 18:24

I love the burgundy colour, I think it’s versatile. Greys, blacks and other reddish colours.

They look lovely on you, I’m a 6-8 and will only wear leather/pleather with longer tops.

Though the shirt looks nicest.

MaisieDotes · 01/10/2017 18:24

I like the deep v neck top best. I don't think the shirt goes.

Sorry - it's a continuation of an earlier thread. I bought these leggings and had some useful feedback. I ordered another pair to try on but they also didn't look great around tummy. So I'm accepting its my mum tum ( not the leggings) but that they do look nicer with a long top ( as per pics)

They don't fit you well, and the three outfits above are just a bit muh. Non descript, hiding what looks like a lovely figure. Looking at your other thread there's absolutely no reason why you should be covering up your tum or any other area, the problem is the trousers not you!

missfliss · 01/10/2017 20:26

I liked the outfits !! SmileSmileSmile

Guess we all have different taste!

Thanks bombadier though.

My figure has many good points - it's proportionate etc.

I do have a pouchy tum though. Always have unfortunately.just worse since kids and getting to 40.

I can guarantee no pair of trousers that's tight will be forgiving without a long line top.

I posted on the other thread (poss before NC). I do think they look good on you and I do think you should keep them if you love them. Fuck it - why not?! It’s your money and your style so do what you bloody well want with it. These tops do look a lot better than the pictures on the previous thread.

You have a great figure Envy I would love to be able to pull off leather leggings like that.

Quick question: what size is that Hush Sintra shirt (if you don’t mind me asking Blush). I am bigger than you and thinking of ordering one so just trying to gauge sizes. Thanks.

Jermajesty · 01/10/2017 20:40

They do look way better on this thread with tops that cover the crotch area.
I also think black shoes / boots will go better.
If you like them, keep them!

SesameSparkle · 01/10/2017 20:45

I like the colour of the leggings and your styling. You could go looser and more structured on the top half (if that makes sense), to contrast the shape with the tight leggings. The shirt in a size up would do this, as would the blazer from your other thread. A loose silk shirt, eg from stories might also look good.

Anyway you've inspired me to try the look and I've just gone and ordered a few pairs of faux leather ones. I had the leather hush ones on in JL last year, but they didn't work on my figure at all - they were far too long and far too loose on my thighs.

missfliss · 01/10/2017 21:28

The hush shirt is a size 10 jermajesty. I do really like it. I sized down because hush is often a bit lose in fit. The 10 is fine, but I need a bit more volume so the 12 is in its way.

Thanks sesame too - if you find any nice pleather ones let me know. I have the next coated leggings in black, they are pretty good

I thought the blazer in the other thread looked the best but obviously that is a more dressy look. I often wear a silk shirt with mine.

Peppermeant · 02/10/2017 12:49

You have a great figure and is probably just me, but I wouldnt pay that much money to have to essentially hide half of the trousers because they are unflattering at the crotch?
