Favourite lipstick discontinued!

Disaster!
My go to night out lipstick is no longer available to buy.
It was Estee Lauder Pure Colour long lasting in Fig, which was a nice browny-red, not too lady of the night, but bold colour to go with my dark hair.
I do not have time to be traipsing round department stores looking for a replacement - why do they do this? Why no warning?

Aargh.

Does anyone have any favourites they recommend? I favour Clinique Black honey in the day.

Have you looked on any end of line websites to try and stock up? Maybe ebay or the beauty website they advertise on TV (can't remember what it's called atm) a friend stocked up on her hair product when discontinued. Also the original factory shop (in store and online) quite often have end of line make up. Good luck

I didn't know there were other options for discontinued lines - off to google!

Try Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour lip colour.

If I apply it properly, it lasts all night, it can't be kissed off and it requires serious makeup remover once you get home.

If it's been recently discontinued you can call EL.
They have a team called something like gone but not forgotten program where they will try to search for the item

Try Mac. I also have dark hair like reddish lipsticks. They have lots to choose from. Dare You and Party Line are deep without being red.

There really ought to be a law against this sort of thing! That and changing the 'recipe' in a perfume - (making it cheaper and sweeter!)

It comes over from Hong Kong but it is legit items. I've ordered lots of stuff from them including lipsticks such as lipstick queen ones as well as hair are stuff
If you get charged import tax you just email / fax them the proof and they refund you pretty much immediately.
I've never had any issues and I am very wary of counterfeit stuff
