Skirt made of swimsuit material

Not really a style and beauty question but it is about clothes. I used to have a dress made of swimsuit material - it was great for sticking on over your swimming cozzie to walk home from the beach even if you were still a bit damp. Am looking for a replacement but the only things I can find are swim dresses designed for actually swimming in that are almost as short as an actual swimsuit. I actually have a rash vest jacket thingy so all I really need is a skirt that's a bit longer than bum length. Has anyone seen such a thing? Navy would be ideal but I'm not that fussy.

Would a dance skirt made of lycra do the job?

This dress was (slightly unexpectedly, for me) made of what I think of as swimsuit material.

Would you think of making one? Swimsuit fabric is available to buy and you could get something that was exactly what you were after.
