I am poised about to take up the Amazon offer - but something that's been bugging me for a while, is the question of possible long-term effects from using lasers on your skin. Do we know for sure it doesn't cause cancer or anything awful like that? Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks.

I was going to buy one maybe five years ago as far as I remember it said if you had cancer within three years not to use it. It put me off.

Lasers don't cause cancer. And these are IPLs not lasers which are intense pulses lights sources. They don't cause cancer either. But you should protect your eyes from viewing the flashes
