Embarrassing / odd perfumes that you love

I am this close to buying a bottle of Dermot O'Leary's Bergamot and Basil fragrance from M&S. It's gorgeous - fresh and clean and really lovely, not particularly masculine. And only £22. If I do go for it, I will have to hold that no one asks me what I'm wearing!

Anyone got an odd or surprising scent that they love?

I used to love LouLou by Cacharel.

I was also partial to a Glow by JLo too

I got dd pusheen perfume last Christmas.
I love the smell, it doesn't last so unlikely to be asked about it though!

I've worn Tresor by Lancôme for about 23 years I don't wear anything else but I love it.

Nicki Minaj perfumes smell very good too my dd wears them. I obviously don't wear them

Also I'll concur that Jade Goody Shh smells lovely, but I don't own it.

I've heard Fancy Nights is supposed to be a lot like Chanel's Coromandel.

Rihanna ‘Nude’-got it as a free gift with a magazine subscription, it’s lovely-vanilla-y, warm and cosy. I wear it on days off when I’m at home with a big jumper on

My 16 year old wears anais anais and I honestly think it is nicer than any perfume I wear. It was my favourite when I was teens/20s.

I bought this based on thread on MN and really don't like it. am about to give it to my cleaning lady (she gets loads of perfume because dh travels a lot and gets bored in airports and buys perfume - he has only a 1/10 hit rate)

Eau timide by shiseido. It's discontinued but there's a modern version by Serge Lutens

Jade Goody Shhh! and its lesser known sister, Controversial, are both great.

I've just bought a bottle of Timeless from Avon for that full-on 70s vibe.

DH wears Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights sometimes.

Eden - I realised recently that wearing this to work on a humid day was a mistake, my colleagues are far too polite to complain but we hot desk, and nobody sat near me that day.
Killer Queen by Katy Perry smells lovely and gets commented on.

Panache! I picked up a bottle in Superdrug the other day. It takes you right back to school days. Now all I need is the roller ball cherry lip gloss and electric blue eyeliner. 🍒

A couple of months ago I won a bottle of Britney fantasy circus at the village fete. Smells lovely.

Another JLo Glow fan here! I love it and get so many compliments on it. And it's the sort of perfume that smells lovely on clothes after a while too, it sort of mellows and is gorgeous

Just bought The One by D&G it's fab

My fancy, out-out perfume is always Chanel no5, and i always get teased about it being an old lady perfume but I just love it - I feel like a proper grown up wearing it lol

Used to love Eden, this thread has made me want to get it again!

I really don't like the man, but Ronan Keating had an aftershave with profits going to the Marie Keating Cancer Charity. It was a lovely fresh scent, much nicer than the female RK perfume, also produced for the charity.
I wish I could buy the aftershave again.
