Embarrassing / odd perfumes that you love

I am this close to buying a bottle of Dermot O'Leary's Bergamot and Basil fragrance from M&S. It's gorgeous - fresh and clean and really lovely, not particularly masculine. And only £22. If I do go for it, I will have to hold that no one asks me what I'm wearing!

Anyone got an odd or surprising scent that they love?

They sell the jade goody one in tj hughes. The gift set is only a tenner with a really nice box and shower gel. Got one for my mum last year

I've had many a compliment on that £4 bottle of loveliness.

Kylie Minogue Sweet Darling. I love it and it's so comforting to me, have to get it on eBay now though

Someone at work was eating anais the other day. I just had to go and buy some. Been wearing it for a couple of days, I LOVE it, haven't worn it for years.

I'm not a perfume person at all but pretty much the only ones I can tolerate are Ralph and Tommy Girl.

Another charlie red fan. I have a huge bottle I got for a fiver from tj Hughes or somewhere and it just takes me straight back to my teens. I'd never admit it to anyone though.
I quite fancy the dermot O'Leary one and the Jessica Simpson.

I like the Lady Gaga black one. I don't use it any more because I have heaps of perfume but I did quite like it as an everyday scent.

I don’t know. My friend gave me a gift set of tiny fragrances for my birthday. Justin just happened to be in the package but it smells really similar to something else that I like that I can’t put my finger on.

If anyone asks me what I’m wearing I shall lie like hell!

Btw, none of the others were Justin Bieber related or any other celebrity, I’ll have you all know!

Conveniently both are sure cheap in B&M - they are ace for cheap embarrassing perfume

I remember loving Tramp when I was a kid.

Can't think why you can't find Tramp in the shops these days.

I'm still partial to a spritz of CKOne in summer.

Someone came in to work wearing Anais Anais the other day, took me right back to my teens.

It smells like oakmoss and patchouli and musty old books. It's dank and mossy and smells like laying on the damp ground in a forest at dusk while wearing a velvet cloak.

That sounds right up my alley!
