Has it been discontinued?
What is everyone using instead? I got the lush one after a recommendation in here but it is very sticky. It only looks ok for 1 day. The next my hair looks terrible. I find a lot of them have that same sticky texture

Nothing to add, sorry, but also interested in suggestions.

Boots have now got a tub of curl creme.
It's got alcohol in it, but out of sheer desperation, I've ordered it. It's only a couple of quid.
I will report back next week with my verdict.

OccasionalNachos · 30/09/2017 16:03

I use ORS curl jelly, the aloe & honey. Smells amazing, huge tub that lasts for ages. Water based so not too sticky.

I've noticed it's not available in every branch. I've stocked up when I've seen it.

SwedishEdith · 30/09/2017 16:10

Just thrown a tub in the bin. Every time I tried it, my hair looked and felt awful.

finnmcool · 30/09/2017 16:11

While we're talking about curl cremes, I need advice please.
My hair is wavy, borderline curly. I use the curly girl method and have got a silk pillowcase.
What do you all use to tame the morning frizz?

MagdalenLaundry · 30/09/2017 16:12

We should have a curl cream swop
I've got several that don't work for me

The silk pillowcase made me look like a wild woman

VO5 curl cream is lovely. You can comb it through the hair, scrunch and let it dry naturally and it doesn't go crunchy.

finnmcool · 30/09/2017 16:16

*Magdalen so I've been making matters worse for myself?Shock
It is meant to help with wrinkles too though?

MagdalenLaundry · 30/09/2017 16:20

I think a fine water spray is the best for morning frizz

Oh ok, thank you Magdalen

Trills · 30/09/2017 18:18

I love it. It works for my hair.

finnmcool · 30/09/2017 19:33

Ooh thanks pineapple

Haffiana · 30/09/2017 21:55

I keep reading threads on here saying this is being discontinued. Both my locals Boots are full of the stuff.

I love it - best product for my hair bar none. The secret is to use very little...

FlourishandBlotts · 30/09/2017 22:57

I do like boots curl creme.

Only alternative I like just as much is cantu curl creme in the bottle, you can buy in superdrug.

littlebillie · 30/09/2017 23:24

Cantu is very good

InigoTaran · 01/10/2017 08:05

I bought it yesterday in a little Boots! I often put a little conditioner on my ends which I think helps.

littlebillie which Cantu product do you use?

BikeRunSki · 01/10/2017 08:08

People who find it turns their hair to straw - are you putting it in wet or dry hair?

In dry hair - I find it turns to straw. In wet hair it gives me beautiful wavey curls.

BroomstickOfLove · 01/10/2017 08:11

I haven't seen the curl creme in my Boots for ages, so I use the Umberto Giannini jelly.
