Any pears found a pleated skirt that suits them?

I love these pleated skirts but not convinced they'll suit me. I should try one on really but I don't want to have this 'look' on my head only for it to look shit when I get to the changing rooms!

Any recommendations?

I haven't tried this one but some of the reviewers say it is flattering for pear shapes. I hunted for ages for one which was flattering and the only one I found might have been the floral version of this in the summer. (Looks v similar, same waistband etc) I didn't want a floral one but still sort of regret not buying it cause it was soo much more flattering than anything else i tried but maybe this is the one?!

Anything which adds width isn't going to work, so a skirt that's softly pleated, or maybe straight at the top and then pleated might work. I'm not pear shaped per se but my hips
Are fairly wide and I find anything pleated just makes me look wider. It's a trend I've swerved to be honest and I normally don't mind wearing things that aren't perfect for my figure

The M&S teal skirt as above is very flattering. The pleats are thin and lightweight and the skirt is really pretty .I'm apple shaped and the skirt hangs beautifully. In contrast the M&S velvet pleated skirt is heavy and not as easy going.

I have that skirt too, and it is flattering - as Teta says, the fabric is very light and the pleats softish, which helps I think. It follows the body and does not stand out from it.

I find that wearing it high on the waist also helps

its nice, but not as they have styled it with the clunky footwear

Thank you all. I love that skirt in the green and the pink. Lovely colours! I'll try it on and report back!

I got a black pleated skirt from Hush recently and it doesn't add any bulk to the hips. I love it.
