Dewy Foundations for dry skin!

Hey!
I have really dry skin and no matter what I do it just looks bad unless I'm using Estée Lauders full coverage foundation.
It's the only one that makes my skin look nice! It is matte though and I'm finding my face just looks like it's had all moisture sucked out.
I have issues with discolouration too so I do like a full coverage.

I'm looking for a dewy full coverage foundation, so my skin looks healthier and not as flat!
I've used too many to list but usually go for matte so haven't ventured into dewy skin as of yet.
Can anyone help from drugstore picks to high end?

I have the same issue. Bourjois City Radiance is brilliant for dewiness and coverage.

I have dry skin and am always on the hunt for glowy foundation. My favourites are Rimmel Match Perfection (or Rimmel Lasting Finish for heavier coverage) and Collection Illuminating Touch. Both cheap but marvellous. MAC Face and Body also good and very buildable

No 7 Skin Illuminator primer also excellent for adding glow

Too Faced born this way
Urban Decay Skin Finish
Nars sheer glow
Mac mineralise

I add a drop of rosehip oil to my foundation before I apply it. Its amazing.

I was going to also suggest adding a drop or two of oil to your foundation, or mixing it with a radiance balm.
I would firstly apply my hyaluronic serum, then a moisturiser, finally using a moisturizing primer to seal in all that moisture.
The last step would be your foundation mixed with the oil/strobe cream etc - and you should be beautifully dewy!

Benefit hello flawless

Clarins Extra Comfort is worth a look - nice creamy texture, plenty of coverage. Look at your skincare though - do you use a serum under your moisturiser? How about an oil for night time?

Another one for Benefit hello flawless fluid foundation, I'm not sure it'll be enough coverage but it's so glowy and dewy and makes your skin look beautiful!

Chanel Vitalumiere

I love Bourjois City too, the pink tube.

I'm looking dewy with Nars

I have very dry skin and find Clarins True Radiance or No 7 Stay Perfect or Lift and Lunimate the best for not making me look dry but having decent coverage as I have a lot of red in my skin. I've trialled the Clarins Extra Comfort too and like it a lot. I can't get on with a lot of other foundations at all, they settle into my fine lines e.g. Double wear, Mac Pro long wear all are dreadful on me.

MeriReu · 01/10/2017 12:51

Have tried Nars before so may do that again!

really need a moisturising primer that will also help with my discolouration. The last few months my skin has gone to hell!

Will look at benefit too!
I wish I could afford Chanel beauty their products are gorgeous.

pistachio I use a decleor serum & the matching night balm for dry skin. I use a Kiko moisturiser or the decleor intense nutrition.
My skin care is good, my makeup suddenly hates me though Grin

My job is actually a beautician & I am qualified in skincare via decleor, but my skin just doesn't work right! I'm combination but mostly dry, my skin reacts badly to new things and masks make me oily or flaky. I can't win!
I'm great with other people's skin but not my own Shock
