SLS Free Shampoo = Greasy Hair??

Hi All,

I swapped out my usual shampoo and conditioner a few weeks back for the new Loreal Elvive Colour Protect Low Shampoo and Conditioner. The shampoo is SLS free which is what I've been looking for. However, ever since the switch, my hair is greasy from the moment I dry it. I'm constantly having to wear it up as it looks awful when it's down.

Has anyone ever experienced this with SLS free shampoo before? I'm wondering if it's just this brand or whether SLS free shampoo tends to do this.

It did the same to my hair along with horrendous dandruff. Chemicals seem to be the only thing that keeps my hair clean.

Try another brand. I have used faith in nature for years.

I've tried Faith in Nature and currently using another one which name escapes me...neither has caused me any greasiness. In fact I usually feel like I could go an extra day between washes!

I use Redken Blonde Idol and my hair has never been in better condition. I only wash it twice a week.

Dead Sea Magik Mineral Shampoo is great and SLS free.
