Has anyone tried the liquid Bare Minerals foundation?

I have very sensitive, dry, eczema prone skin and am wondering if it would be ok for me...
It sells itself as hypoallergenic and including a non chemical sunscreen (sunscreens can be a real problem for me) which sounds good and range of shades looks good but wondering if anyone has tried it?

I haven't but intend to try it, there's a special offer on qvc on saturday. they also(always) have a 30 days money back guarantee, so if you don't like it you can return it within 30 days and get your money back, you only pay postage.

Have you decided what shade to get Toriah?

toriah · 27/09/2017 21:35

11 or 12, not sure yet! apparently qvc release them tomorrow morning, so will have a look on website. they'll demonstrate them on saturday. the make up artist S J Froom, who does bare mineral,s is very good. saw a chart of shades on facebook :)

Do you mean the bare skin one? If so then I've got it. I even bought the special expensive brush too.

I don't like it. It is really greasy on me and wears off within a couple of hours. It settles in fine lines and cakes around my nose. It turns orange as I wear it too.

I really wanted to like it. I quite like their powder range.

QueenofLouisiana · 27/09/2017 22:09

Exactly what happy said. I had all the same problems- looked like a crumpled oompa-loompa in an oils slick. Stupid fancy brush too.

Shop · 27/09/2017 22:11

No Happy this is a new one, matte, full
Coverage apparently

clausthefish · 28/09/2017 06:23

If it’s anything like other Bare Minerals liquids, it will be shite.

mynameisnotmichaelcaine · 28/09/2017 06:30

I hated my Bare Minerals liquid one. It really dried out my skin, and made it look flaky and awful. Expensive too!

MiniMaxi · 28/09/2017 06:33

I have it, and the brush, and I like it. Only problem so far is the bottle leaks so you waste quite a bit.

dameofdilemma · 28/09/2017 08:30

OK so I have v dry skin so this might not be the foundation for me...

Thanks for feedback. I need very moisturising foundations (and even then I mix them with a little moisturiser before applying). The lady on the counter said the Bare Skin one is more moisturising than the BarePro so I better steer clear I think.

Dame I have a bare skin one I don't use if you'd like to try it?

Doublechocolatetiffin · 28/09/2017 09:14

I had a bare minerals lady put it on me in a shop a few months back. I went to get the powder stuff and she kept on that with my skin etc I should get the liquid so she sold me that. Within minutes it felt awful, really heavy and having looked in the mirror a few times in the shop I looked like I'd been tangoed. Yuk. I went back and returned it.

dameofdilemma · 28/09/2017 10:14

Shop - that's ok, the lady at the shop would probably give me a sample if I asked. I'd heard mixed things about Bare Minerals generally so wanted to check...

I have really dry, sensitive skin and the foundation I've used for the last couple of years and repeat buy is Max Factor miracle illusion. I apply with a damp beauty blender then use a bit of Lilly Lolo powder to set it- really great stuff and better than not expensive brands I've tried.

SukiTheDog · 28/09/2017 11:08

I had a sample of this. It was dreadful. Very greasy and just did nothing for my skin. My face looked better with just Moisturiser on.
