Slimming, well fitted dress

I need a dress for work everyday. Today I wore a floaty dress imagining I'm still a size 10 (size 14/16 now Shock) and my daughter told me I looked pregnant - I think she's right. Last week I wore a figure hugging dress and a well meaning colleague told me I should have bodyshaping underwear. I like to look attractive - please someone suggest a forgiving black dress that will work as an everyday dress.

Sorry - trousers and a top!

Gosh your colleague was rude. Poor you!

However, Whistles Lola/Lulu (one has a collar and one doesn't) dress is very easy to wear and skims over lumps and bumps.

I'm a 16 and I like the phase eight kimono style dresses - I have a couple and they're really flattering. Might be worth a look and see if there's any in this season.

What shape are you? If you have a waist, make sure it's on display, of you are apple shaped wear empire line that falls from the bust, or loose tops and tighter leggings/ trousers.
Phase 8 understand curves.
Sorry people have been so rude to you... Your colleague....Angry
