I'm an apple-shape and have been really happy with Wallis Demi jeans. But they have changed them, and they're not as good as they were.

What I need is a lot of ease in the waist and snugness on the hips. My hips and waist measure nearly the same, so unless there is a lot of ease in the waist so that I can size for my hips it looks as though I'm wearing jodhpurs. I slightly prefer a bit of stretch, but not if it means they will go baggy. I like slim fit legs, but skinny fit could be ok too. I wear a 14 in Wallis, or 16 in Dorothy Perkins Eden (which are a bit too loose on the hips and a bit too tight on the ankles), or a L in Uniqlo legging trousers (I might need to go down to a M in those).

I really don't like shopping very much, so online would be my preference, and I'm in Ireland so some of the UK shops might not have a physical presence here.

Thanks to all you fashionistas.

Have you tried the Asda Wonderfit? They have a lot of stretch so it form wits but also don't go baggy. Nice and cheap too!

I have just bought Dorothy Perkins Bailey skinnies which seem great so far. Lots of stretch and my waistband has a bit of spare so might suit you better than me. My waist always seems to have a little gape at the back.

I'll try both of those, thanks.

M and S boyfriend fit are fairly generous where you want.
