can you recommend an everyday conditioner for dry ends

My hair is really dry at the ends and I've got the expensive hair masks I don't use but what I need is an every day not megabucks conditioner which is moisturising but not too heavy. Any ideas?

Garnier ultimate blends delicate oat shampoo/conditioner is lovely and doesn't weigh your hair down.

I would go with the Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 2 or 3 shampoo (optional) and conditioner. The level 3 totally revived my hair when it was quite dry and brittle after attempting to highlight my hair myself (guess I deserve that).

I don't wash my hair every day, but whenever I use it (I use level 3), it doesn't weigh it down, and your hair will feel fantastic and smell like strawberries. I get them in B & M's for £10 a bottle, but it's a big bottle about 750ml and it's a fab deal. You can get them in smaller sizes though.

It's definitely the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used and I thoroughly recommend it. It's not too expensive at all and you can find some fantastic deals on them.

For a lighter conditioner if that's too heavy for you (it shouldn't be) but Bed Head Recharge conditioner is also great I use this too. Again you can buy big bottles of this for the same price. I hope you try them out they're fantastic.

The best things i've used on my dry ends so far is a teeny bit of coconut oil instead of conditioner

Believe it or not Dove do a really good conditioner.

Yes To Carrots is really good and moisturising if you have a stockist near you (my local independent pharmacy has it, and also Ocado).

Thank you all! I'm so grateful for all the brilliant ideas. I've ordered the tigi and going to buy yes to carrots too and look out for the Dove one and/or the garner. Will try coconut oil too as I have some of that, but when do you use it mrsbarrington ? overnight or just any time?

Hi again. I'm obviously not mrsbarrington, but out of personal experience with coconut oil, it's probably easiest to keep it in overnight. That being said, you can put it in anytime you have spare. If you do this I would leave it in for maybe 3 hours. For best results I would apply heat with a hair dryer every now and then to make sure that it properly penetrates the hair follicle.

Be careful not to use to much though. I personally find pure coconut oil really hard to get out of my hair but that's not the case for everyone. I would just apply it mostly to the mids and ends. Avoid the roots! Conditioner will help remove the oil easier and more effectively than shampoo.

Also, if you're looking for a good deep treatment mask for your hair, I would thoroughly recommend Cantu deep treatment mask. You can get it off of Amazon for about £5/6. It's a big tub and it seriously smells amazing! It is such a good conditioner and very nourishing for dry hair. It's originally meant for curly, coily or wavy hair but this isn't a necessity, you can use it no matter your hair type (with the exception of fine and oily hair perhaps). Can't recommend this product enough honestly 😊

L'Oreal Elvive 3 Clays conditioner is cheap and makes my dry hair feel swishy and moisturised.

I use the tigi level 2 or 3 too and I get the big ones from all beauty

I've never used level 1 or 2, but level 3 was a lifesaver! Same shampoo my hairdresser uses on me. Really good if you have over processed hair
