Taking the Ankle Boot with Dresses Plunge

Inspired by the other thread - please can stylish 40+ post pix of good ankle-boot-with-skirt combos to show me how to do it?

I think the most important thing is the boots need to be right. Either on the 'arts teacher' side for wearing with the more relaxed style of dress which let's put it this way, isn't exactly stylish or trend-based, or if you want a more fashion-based look, the boots need to be sharp and on the smart side, so on-point when it comes to trends at the moment.

Ok I think the other thread is a good example and is definitely the way I would go - I would wear it similarly to that styling. I have got my eye on a couple of pairs of boots. One is black but along the same lines as the boots they've styled that Whistles dress with, and the other is a pair of red satin sock boots so a bit more out there. One is fine to wear day to day for going out and/or office, the other I'd probably keep for evenings.

I wear boots with everything , high heels always feel so formal . This is a bad angle but you get the drift !
