Recomend a mosituring body lotion that won't leave me feeling sticky

Just that really, I dislike feeling 'sticky' after moisturising. Also don't like when moisturisers stain my trousers/ jeans when I m putting them on! Anyone care to recommend a nice body moisturiser I can use everyday that won't break the bank ? Skin is slightly dry and sometimes sensitive but moreso to washes and shampoos than moisturisers.

The Vaseline spray

Glamorousglitter · 25/09/2017 23:14

Thanks! I Tried that before and felt it wasn't very moisturising but will to give it a go again.

I know - it isn't as rich but sometimes I bath in almond oil before sleep and that does the trick. But the spray is convenient after swimming etc.

Nivea in shower moisturiser. The blue one is good for dry skin.

Aveeno lotion

womanbehavingbadly · 25/09/2017 23:22

The Cow Shed ones are really good & smell amazing

ShizzleYoDrizzle · 25/09/2017 23:26

Aveeno in the pump bottle

OkPedro · 25/09/2017 23:31

I use Cocoa butter with vitamin E
I don't use a lot as it's thick but my skin is left really soft especially my face pity about the dark circles and broken capillaries though

FramptonRose · 25/09/2017 23:35

Superdrug have an amazing Vitamin E cream selection, I use the face cream and the body cream and it is amazingly light but leaves you feeling moisturised.
They have won a load of awards for it too and it is cheap, I think the face cream is no more than £3.00 x

I swear by palmers cocoa butter lotion (the original) I've used it for years and nothing has come close!

IheartCaptainHolt · 26/09/2017 06:57

I love the smell of palmers but Aveeno is the best I've tried for quick drying power. If you go to Costco you can usually get three big bottles for only a couple of quid more than one bottle costs in Tesco.

Glamorousglitter · 26/09/2017 08:16

Oh i d forgotten palmers ! I swore by that in my pregnancies :). I know it s thick but it didn't leave sticky residue. Couldn't get on with aveeno

Waitrose Pure body cream (comes in a tub). Lighter and not as heavily fragranced as Superdrug's Vit E body cream (also in a tub). I flit between those two, when I can't afford £££ on L'Occitane Shea Body cream.

mintmagnummm · 26/09/2017 12:46

I don't get on with aveeno either

Ollivander84 · 26/09/2017 13:04

Nivea in shower or body shop sorbet

TheHamptons · 26/09/2017 16:09

LOve the in shower moisturiser

happy2bhomely · 26/09/2017 19:21

Superdrug vit E. It smells lovely, sinks in quickly and really makes my skin look good.

I've used all sorts and this is my favourite by far.

StillNoFuckingEyeDeer · 26/09/2017 19:28

Aveeno daily moisturiser in the pump

QuilliamCakespeare · 26/09/2017 19:30

Aveeno. It's the only thing that keeps my dry, sensitive skin moisturised.

Pooshweens · 26/09/2017 19:38

Another vote for aveeno

ToothTrauma · 26/09/2017 19:40

I love the L’Occitane Verbena body lotion for exactly this reason.

PeaceAndLove1 · 26/09/2017 19:42

Almond oil or coconut oil. I love them, no harsh chemicals. The coconut oil just for body though, I find it too rich for the face.

SprinkleOfInsanity · 26/09/2017 19:48

Nivea q10 (in the blue bottle). It's lovely, I now have soft elbows as well as everywhere else Grin I slap it on straight after I'm dry from the shower, and by the time I've done my make-up it's sunk in enough for me to get dressed.

fedupandnogin · 26/09/2017 19:55

Body Shop Shea Butter
