Clothes patch for raincoat?

Not sure where to put this... is there such a thing as a clothes patch that can be put onto waterproof fabric? I don't need to mend anything, but my DS is refusing to wear a coat because it doesn't have a Batman symbol on so am wondering if I can put a patch on it somehow. Assuming ordinary iron type patches wouldn't work on a raincoat... Ta

Why not try pasting a vinyl sticker on it as a patch can tear up the coat. But I wonder if there would be exactly batman stickers but I have come across some cute vinyl stickers online which you can use to paste on a rain coat.
