Tall order I know, but a question about foundation....

What is the best foundation to buy for a 51 year old face with combination/oily skin, prone to spot breakouts on the forehead?
Been using Boots no7 foundation for yonks, the stay perfect one, and use pore reducing primer underneath, but not sure if that’s what is causing the spots.
Any advice will be gratefully received, thanks xx

I've tried so many foundations. Quite liking max factor at the moment. Seems to stay on.

It's pricier but I love Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet. It's a luminous yet still matte but long wearing finish. Just a lovely formulation.

Have you seen the blogger 'Hot and Flashy'? She does you tube reviews for make up etc for more mature skin and specialises in great super thorough foundation reviews. The Chanel one is her top pick too. It's brilliant to see how things wear when you aren't a 22yr old with perfect skin!

I love YSL Fusion Ink foundation.... it's fairly matte but not powdery.

I think foundation can be quite personal though... and it depends on them having your exact shade as sometimes I like the formula but am inbetween two shades.

I do rate YSL for foundation though.

Cheers all, I'll have a look at Max Factor, Hot and Flashy and YSL x

Lancôme is good too. Nice feeling on the skin- not heavy but good coverage. And a very good range of colours.
