Joe browns clothes - true to size?

I am so tempted by some of the lovely new stuff in their autumn collection but wonder how true to size their fit is, there seems to be mixed comments on the website, has anyone bought from them? Tia

Love their stuff but the arms can be long. Have three tunic style tops/dresses which fit me well and i am 5 foot 3.

Thanks rain, so would you say a 12 is a 12 in their sizes?

I have a tunic but its huge. I usually need to order at least 1 size up with other brands due to large boobs so thats what I did with my joe browns tunic. I could have ordered a size down as its very roomy and stretchy compared with fat face clothing for instance.

The sleeves can be long but I'm only 5ft tall so its a normal issue for me.

I think you will be fine with your 'normal' size. So if you usually get a 14 then order a 14.

most of their stuff is true to size - I've worn their clothes for years and cab usually order with confidence that the item will fit. Recently I ordered a new tunic - blue with swans loved the colour, design details, swan pattern, everything. But did it fit? no way! /reviews showed other people with the same problem, saying that they'd even ordered bigger than their usual size but still too small.
I usually wear the looser fitting tunic which are fine, this swan design was a more fitted shape, but really should still havce fit the person with the same dress size as on the label.

I'm also tall with long arms, so that part is fine.

Does anyone know if the Joe Browns ladies festival dresses for this year 2022, are true to size, or, are smaller or bigger than usual sizes? I am a 14/16 but, sometimes when you order a 16 they can be extra long or to big on the shoulders, equally, if I ordered a 14 it could be to tight? as they are expensive (purple one) at £75 plus p and p, I'm holding back, but need a dress for Ascot this Summer so don't want to leave it to the last minute if its; either sold out or size doesn't fit... any recommendations are greatfully accepted. Thanks in advance... Lorraine
