Can I still wear sandals in September?

Stressing over a smart-casual outfit for this afternoon. Obviously I physically can, but is it silly to wear sandals this time of year? Reassure me that I can! (Must go shopping for more footwear..)

Of course you can if it's warm enough. Just expect other people to be in anything up to boots and tights! There were people in everything from flip flops to duffel coats on my train yesterday Smile

I wear sandals in December! Sensory issues so shoes are a last resort.

But for a less odd person, yes, sandals are still acceptable in September.

Sorry OP, have just seen that your event was this afternoon, so am a bit late to the party but just wanted to chip in and say yes, of course you can wear sandals at this time of the year. I had mine on with skinnies and a short sleeved t-shirt whilst shopping today (and a lady asked where I got my sandals Smile).

Totally depends on the weather. We had 30 degrees in late September last year and it would have hurt not to wear sandals, to be honest. September can be anything, fashion wise. If it's raining and blowing a gale, put the sandals away.
