OK, I have just over 2 weeks to get this sorted. I'm in the UK.

This is me achieving my lifetime's ambition. And I get a commemorative photo of us together. So I'd like to look good! And I will post the pic when I get back to thank you for helping me!

Despite my best efforts to lose weight this year (2.5 stone down!) I am still 11.5 stone at 5 foot 2. Waist: 34 inches, hips: 40. I'm a B/C cup. 34 years old and blonde w green eyes and celtic-pale skin).

I have a tattoo on my lower back which I might show her...so I was thinking an evening dress cut very low at the back? And something which can fit in my carry-on suitcase (I'm not taking any luggage for the plane's hold). HOWEVER my legs are really not my best feature so it would need to be a long dress but petite length if you see what I mean.

I'm in the UK, for the avoidance of doubt.

And yes, I have booked a full-body wax, eyelash and eyebrow treatment and getting my highlights topped up before I go. And tooth whitening if I can remember to put it in at night!

I don't really have any ideas on what to wear and i don't like Britney but I'm very excited for you OP!

A friend of mine did the meet and greet thing. Just so you are prepared, she said it was a super quick (like 30 seconds) photo opportunity. No time to chat, really a 'stand next to Britney, smile, move along, next please' type thing. Also strictly no touching at all, no gifts, and security was really tight (as you'd expect).

Hope you have an amazing time, but manage your expectations - I'm not sure you'll have time to show her anything, or talk to her other than a quick 'hello'.

I don't think there would be time though to get her to sign a body part but it's something I would consider yeah!

As if anyone alive could still fit into their tops they wore at Uni when they only existed on booze, cigarettes and the occasional tin of beans.

I wanted to say, I'm 5'2 and rock a jumpsuit, they really suit me, so it depends on your proportions not your height. And use wundaweb on the legs.

I love how excited you are and can't wait to see the pictures when you come back! Hope you feel amazing in whatever you choose to wear. And this is the motto I use when a day feels as though I should have stayed in bed!

Yeah, Britney and I have been through a lot at round about the same times. Altho I never shaved my head. Still remember when I heard that on the radio that morning when she did it! Also remember seeing on bbc news 24 that she'd got married in vegas...very odd because (keeping up with the gossip magazines) I knew she didn't have a boyf at the time.

Anyhoo, I'm just glad my mistakes aren't on the internet! most of them as far as I know no that's not me, honest

She's a year older than me so we've grown up together!

Have been thinking about you today, OP, with the terrible news coming through from Vegas. What an awful thing to happen.

I know, absolutely terrible. Those poor people, I am so, so sorry. I had in the back of my mind that something like that could happen but I assumed it would be a "traditional" (!!) terror attack rather than, it appears a lone wolf.

I'm still going, of course. Is probably the safest place on the planet right now and one must never give in to fear. I actually got caught up in the G8 riots in Edinburgh about 10 years ago which was frightening enough at the time. And I was not terribly far away from being on the underground when 7.7 hit. There but for the grace of God go all of us.

If it's not too gauche and on the basis that life must go on, the update is: had my facial hair threaded, wanted it done a few days in advance to give the resulting whiteheads a chance to go.

I get my highlights done on Wed but I literally cannot wait for my full-body wax on Saturday. Also getting LVL eyelashes and eyebrow tint. Will never allow myself to get this hairy again! I maybe should have left it an extra 2 weeks before I chucked the razors.

I'm also putting my teeth-bleaching trays in every night.

I ordered some 2nd hand but brand new never worn M&S denim flares petite and they came today - they are lovely, very soft and fit quite well. So into the suitcase they go. Can be teamed with lots of things.

Still time to fit in about 2-3 gym sessions before I leave.

Hello all!

I got my full body waxing done today and now feel amazing! So soft and light!

I also got the LVL eyelash treatment done and have had fantastic results! My eyelashes look like spiders (but in a good way if you see what I mean). It does take a while and the stuff is a bit itchy whilst it's on your eyes but the curl and definition is excellent! Will be interesting to see how long the effects last! The therapist said it was the best result she's had on someone. FYI: I have quite long, dark eyelashes to start with but they've very straight so usually need a hefty dose of eyelash curlers.

Britney's concert on Wednesday (the first of 2 I'm going to) will be her first one since the tragedy last week so she's bound to say something about it at the beginning. It will be interesting to see what the atmosphere is in Vegas (I've been before so will compare) and what sort of tributes there are and what security is like.

Strange times we live in.
