Does this look nice?

I want a leather jacket to wear now. I have a lot of leather jackets but I have gained so much weight and can't fit into them. So this will just be an in between jacket until I can fit in my nicer ones.

Does it look nice? Or does the leather look cheap?

It does look a bit on the plasticky side but that suits the style. The belt thing would annoy me though.

The all saints balfern is similar. If you wait till they have their 20-30% off (probably in next few weeks) it won't cost too much more. It's much nicer. That looks a bit cheap for the price.

Just cant bring myself to pay current All Saints prices. They've rocketed up in recent years and I don't think the quality has improved accordingly.

I've just bought a Minimum black leather biker from amazon, reduced from £220 to £32. Can't link as on phone but search it. It's coming today so I can update later on the quality, cut, etc.

Love the style of it but sorry to say it does look a bit cheap and plasticky.

I actually like the Balfern but find it expensive. Maybe I should wait for the sale! Would you know if they run small?

It's just arrived and it's much nicer than it needs to be for £32! The leather feels lovely, but it's a nubuck rather than a smooth leather. That's actually better for me because I have another leather jacket and I wanted something to wear to work that wouldn't scare the horses. This will do the job nicely. I'm a pretty solid 10 and I got the 8 (36) because I know I'm 36 in Danish sizes.

I already have about 10 leather jackets (and that doesn't include the suede ones) but everyone keeps talking about this brand so I'm tempted to try one of the two which I understand to be the 'classic' ones, the Bales and the Balfern.

They do promote throughout the year, not just for Black Friday. I'm sure I've seen 20% off in October.

All Saints ones are too heavy for me. I really want to buy a leather jacket this year but can't find the one.

I looked at the first TS and it's quite shiny and a bit cheap looking. I've seen faux leather ones that look nicer.

I like that ASOS one a lot, the belt thing on the Topshop one would be annoying, I think.

There was 20-30% off in October last year at All Saints on virtually all the jackets as I tried the majority on as they were in the sale. I actually bought the cargo but returned it for an ink blue wyatt (which was basically the balfern).

And yes they say you should size down- wish I'd have gone for the 8 now as this 10 is a big baggyer than I'd planned- but I wouldn't listen to their advice 🙄
