Hi
I've developed hormonal acne on my chin. After some googling at Christmas I bought facewash and moisturiser with salycilic acid, and a serum with 2.5% retinoid and hyluronic acid. It really helped clear up the big patches of spots but I'm still left with some persistent ones on my jaw and chin, as well as generally quite dry skin which is showing signs of age (late 30s)
So what do I need and what routine? I'm pretty poor so was looking at the ordinary for budget products. Do I need a retinoid with a lower % number (which seems stronger?!) for spots or is that the hyluronic acid? Should I buy two separate serums and alternate them? What is going to help my dry, pasty, blotchy spotty skin?
Thanks!
