Knee socks, lovely long and warm...

But where do I get them?!! M&S are mid calf, tk maxx occasionally have the odd pair but this is not a reliable supply... Anyone have any ideas? Obviously the Falke ones are perfect but cost £16 a pair and that is just a leetle outside of budget...

I've had good ones from primark before.

Ski socks from Mountain Warehouse, Trespass etc are often on sale. I've got wee feet and can wear the kids ones, which are really cosy, knee high and don't slide down.

Peacocks (do they have that everywhere?) had loads of choice if lovely ones. I wanted to get some, but didn't know what I'd wear them with.
What are you wearing when you wear knee high socks?

I have a collection of Avoca long socks. Approx £10 -12, some more. Some of the patterns can be a bit bonkers, with ribbon and embellishment, but I usually wear under long boots and wellies.
