Dupe for Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara

I recently received a small size of the above mascara and loved it! Reminded me how important a good mascara is. Any ideas of a dupe for it as currently on mat leave and still trying to be sensible with the dosh! 🙄
Thanks

I like this but it's a bugger to remove isn't it? Sorry that wasn't much help.

Opheliasgoldenwine · 20/09/2017 11:14

L'Oréal Babydoll mascara- think it's £7 in Superdrug- I swear by it as a cheap one that's amazing Smile

LentilBaby · 20/09/2017 11:31

Fab, thanks ladies!

Maybelline Lash Sensational, easier to get off as well.

chloechloe · 20/09/2017 12:17

After being repeatedly disappointed with cheap mascara I tend to girl out for Benefit or Lancôme Hypnose, they're by far the best around. A good trick to get more out of it is to stick the tube in aug of hot water! Should get some more out if it that way!

I find it comes off with waterproof makeup remove without any problems.

chloechloe · 20/09/2017 12:18

Gah, wretched autocorrect!

So I fork out for the expensive ones and you need to put it in a mug of hot water!

Great! I've always gone between expensive and cheaper mascaras. I love Lancôme Hypnose too, love Dior but also like a couple of the Maybelline ones as well. The Benefit 'They're real' mascara just gave instant fluttering lashes really easily. I think the brush is really good. I use the Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil to remove all my make up before using a face wash, it is amazing and not expensive! Removes all traces really easily. Will give the hot water trick a try too. Thanks for your tips ladies x

Max factor false lash effect fusion. Love love love it.

Diggingmywayout · 20/09/2017 12:54

I'm convinced it's mostly to do with the brush so I stick the Benefit They're Real brush into my other mascaras and it really improves them.

TheLegendOfBeans · 20/09/2017 12:56

Do they still sell W7 in Peacocks?

Ps: may I recommend Simple Cleansing Oil advice the best make up remover seeing as we're here?

LentilBaby · 20/09/2017 13:30

Digging I think you're right about the brush.....what a great idea to use it in a cheaper mascara! Why didn't I think of that?! 😄

OP posts:
LentilBaby · 20/09/2017 13:31

Legend I've never heard of W7, was going to google it

LentilBaby · 20/09/2017 13:32

Angelo I've haven't tried Max Factor for years! Might be worth a try.

Lentilbaby it would be even better if it fitted perfectly in other mascaras and screwed up properly but it seems that EVERY SINGLE SODDING mascara is slightly different! Grin

Thethreegraces · 20/09/2017 20:18

There's a special offer on a Lancome Hypnose mascara bundle for £16.42 atm.

Lancome hypnose

LentilBaby · 20/09/2017 22:02

Digging Lol! How very inconsiderate of the manufacturers 😂

Thethreegraces Thanks for the link, that's really quite a bargain! Might go for it. Now tempted to by some other things.....must resist!! 😊👍🏼

The W7 dupe is brilliant, I'm using it at the minute. You can buy it in BodyCare.

LentilBaby · 21/09/2017 08:08

Pugwalls Thanks, it's reduced online and it's only £2.75 ish.....will def place an order for that price!

It isn't any cheaper, but Eyeko is the best mascara I have ever used. It lasts so long and never clumps, which Benefit tends to quite rapidly. It is also much better than Hypnose and Diorshow in my opinion.

LentilBaby · 22/09/2017 07:54

Reppin Which Eyeko mascara do you use? I was looking at them the other day as I had an M and S 20% off voucher but there are 3-4 different ones. Thanks

Wilkos have a fibre mascara, it is in a dark purple tube with a black top and it is amazing! £3. I have bought one for all the ladies in my family and tell anyone who will listen ho much I love this mascara

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 22/09/2017 08:19

Wilkos mascara is indeed great as is their nail varnish, eyebrow powder/was set, eyeliners.

PasDeDeux · 22/09/2017 10:02

Maybelline Lash Sensational by far. No clumping and it gives me looovely long lashes! I in fact have a bottle of Benefit They're Real and hardly use it as i find it inferior to Lash sensational!
