Eyelash curlers

I'm looking for a pair of eyelash curlers, don't mind paying a bit for them as long as they work ! Any recommendations?

I recently bought some Kevin Aucoin ones (from Cult Beauty) after my Shu Howdoyouspellit ones died on me. I really like them, they open up really wide so you can position them easily and are really gentle on the lashes with no pulling. Some cheaper ones tend to pull out the odd eyelash which is not great when you hardly have any to begin with!

The Charlotte Tilbury ones are great!

I heard the shu????? Ones are meant to be fab.

Following with interest...I've spent a fortune on these bloody things and find they all 'pinch' the skin on my eyelid - or am I doing something wrong?!!

I've had the Shu Uemura's for eons (just replace the silicone pad every now and then) and rate them highly but SU isn't sold in the UK anymore and eBay is rife with fakes so be careful where you buy them. Also own the Kevyn Aucoin, like these a lot too but they give me more nighttime fluttery lashes that kick up at the edges where SU give me more daytime doll eyes so it's a point of preference. I'm eyeing up the Surratt ones currently as this is supposed to outperform the SU.

As a starting point, I would suggest measuring your eye curvature and using the reference of eyelash curler brands and their measurements as to what would suit you best potentially.

Kevyn Auction don't suit my eye shape. I really wanted them to work. I even tried measuring my eye using the reddit idea, but still bought the wrong shape.
There's no point in recommending curlers unless we do it by eyeshape.
Min for example are almond and deep set so i think i need I need curlers with a deeper curve but narrower radius.

not auction, bloody auto correct!

Oh whaaatt!! I didn't realise there was a whole science to this!! I'll have to read though the article and see what' best for me. Confused
