Necklaces - what do you wear?

I'm in a jewellery rut. I'd like some nice necklaces but tbh, I'm a bit scared of them. I have two big chunky pearl ones, a grey single strand and a cream and silver double strand, but I seem to just wear a very simple silver star fish necklace all the time. I also have a long pendant thing with small turquoise stones in the chain, that I wear very occasionally.

Anyone fancy inspiring me with your favourite necklaces?

He has some lovely feather ones too. I have a black large feather and a small gold plated one.

I have several that I switch around-

A gold one from accessorize with my star sign constellation on it
A silver one with a tiny silver star on it
A silver one with a turtle on it
A silver one with a Buddha hanging off it

Those are the main ones I use. Get yourself over to etsy, you can find absolutely any necklace you can think of there for brilliant prices, all handmade too.

Today I'm wearing a silver necklace from Tiffanys. It's quite small and plain but goes with lots. I also have a hammered gold heart necklace from there.
I want the bumble necklace, it's on my wishlist!
I had, but can't find anywhere, a lovely star necklace from Chambers and Beau, I found them via Instagram (a lot of bloggers wear her stuff)

If my bag wasn't already stuffed with pendulums it could be used as an emergency dowser 👍

I wear one or layer two simple gold necklaces... they're all fine chains of various lengths and have different small/simple things on e.g. a tiny lightning bolt from the Topshop Freedom range, another is a gold intricate coin-like pendant and I also have one of those crescent-ish bull horn things that seemed to be in trend during summer.

For pretty necklaces that I won't regret spending £££ on, I like looking at Accessorize's Z by Zara range or in Topshop.

I have quite a few Alex Monroe necklaces, one silver coin one by Laura Lee, and a lovely silver ampersand by Rachel Jackson London, all of which I wear often. I also have a lot of more "statement-y" stuff from Tatty Devine, plus bits and bobs from the likes of Topshop and Accessorize.

I wear pendants on a gold chain (99% of the time). At the moment I'm a big fan of wearing a single diamond set in gold on a simple chain. It goes with nearly everything, from casual to smart, even looks ok with my sportswear.
I have around 50 pendants I switch out though - I like looking in independent jewellers for small, gold pendants (my preference for my skintone).
I'm half middle eastern, as well, so I do have coins / prayers / evil eyes / hansa hands as well as more unusual pieces I've found in small shops. Antique shops can be a good place to hunt!
