Help with boob or bust

GK11O4 · 19/09/2017 08:34

I've done the measurements and it came up 32 F, I almost collapsed in hysterics! I am no way that size, you can almost push my boobs together and cup them in one hand! Even my partner said no offence but that is wayy off. Upon putting the measurements into other sites it says 36 C, sounds more plausible. So I went and got some of those sizes. But they don't fit either! When I lift my arms up my boobs pop out of the bottom! The back where the clasp is, rides up so not sitting straight. I'm so annoyed! But I still don't think Boob or bust is correct?

The thing is its so difficult to get bras to fit right because as well as the band and cup size, theres also the matter of how your breasts sit and fall.
Check this link out: m.herroom.com/breast-separation,333,30.html

I'm so sad because mine are a full B cup and I like how rounded they are but they're a little wider set so I cant get the vertical cleavage line 😭😭😭😭😭 Also because of the spacing, even some A cups arent filled by my breasts properly because of their position, so the inner edge is gapey and the outer edge squashed 😳

36C is not that much smaller than 32F. The smaller the band size, the smaller the cup with the same letter.

If your boobs fall out, then clearly the band is too big. Give the 32F a try, nothing to lose, plenty of sites do free delivery and returns.

But Fs are massive surely?! I've never worn anything bigger than a b, even then when I wore bs, there'd be a huge gap at the top? Like it wasn't covering me. I don't know, I'm so confused by it all
According to that site pp, I have the normal two finger wide space between the boobs

But Fs are massive surely?

Not necessarily.

Spam88 · 19/09/2017 08:56

Just try loads on. I read that you should try them on backwards first to get the right band size, then when you've got that try different cups.

GK11O4 · 19/09/2017 08:57

Sorry don't mean to offend anybody, when I look at my chest I literally dispair. I'm so tiny and I've been dreaming off a boob job for years. If I was an F I would probably faint!

No, just a letter does not mean 'massive'. Cup size is relative to back size. 36C is the same cup size as 34D, 32DD or 30E. Or 40A for example.

Check bratabase.com website for properly fitting 32F bras, they really aren't huge.

IamEarthymama · 19/09/2017 09:31

Go and try some 32F bras on in Debenhams, choose the styles you like.
You never know, it might be right.
If not, have a look for a smaller cup, bigger etc etc.

I have bras of various sizes, around the 36F mark.
I go in when there is an offer on or during the sales and try those I think may fit.

I don't get stuck on what it says on the labels, the same styles can vary according to the manufacturer and materials used.

Hairq · 19/09/2017 09:38

Try a 32f, a 32e and a 30f. The cups are relative to the band size so not enormous. The 36 band is obviously way too big for you.

I thought I was a 36C for years then one day I tried one of my mum's bras (34ff) on for a laugh and was shocked to find that although it was a bit big it wasn't laughably big on me. So I went to Debenhams and tried loads of different sizes on and fitted as a 32F (I fitted myself). I went to bravissimo a year later and they fitted me as 32F too so I was right. I've since put in weight and am now a 32ff or g. LOADS of people think they're a 36C because it "sounds about average" but actually, 36 is quite a big back size - I'm a 12-14 and wear a 32 - and C is a very small cup size.

HailLapin · 19/09/2017 09:42

No , I'm a 32f/34e and am really not massive.

Try that size , your might be surprised.

BuntyCollocks · 19/09/2017 09:43

Read this. You're welcome.

I'm 30/32f I do look like I have boobs but no they don't look massive. I can cup one in each hand not both in the same hand. I did the bra intervention thing on here but there wasn't any difference between the size I've been measured in store.
Can you go into store and try a variety of sizes on.

BruceAndNoush · 19/09/2017 09:52

I'm a 30FF and mine are absolutely tiny, less than a handful really.

BruceAndNoush · 19/09/2017 09:53

So a 32F will be similar to what I am. It is small. But it is an F cup - the volume of the cup is relative to the back band. A 38F for example would be huge!

Maudlinmaud · 19/09/2017 09:57

Yip. My friend couldn't believe I was an f cup. I had to show her the label on my bra Grin When I was a teen I wore a 32b, why? Because everybody did. I don't think I got measured until I went to uni.

WomblingThree · 19/09/2017 11:05

Another thing is that all bras are different. I can't remember which website it's on, but there's a guide to the actual shape of your boobs and where the flesh is distributed and which bra shape you should try.

Even when you've got your properly-measured size, you can't just assume that any old bra in that size will fit (unfortunately). I posted on a bra thread last week and someone gave me a couple of recommendations of brands to try. One of them was perfect, the other no use at all. It's trial and error. I've ordered, tried and returned 24 bras so far to get one 🙁
