Help me find a dress...

So I am going to my friends baby shower and would like a new dress, trouble is I have 0 fashion taste. I am a size 8/10 and 28 years old.

I wandered into Phase Eight and found the attached but its far to expensive and also is a bit too long for my 5'2 frame - would have to get it taken up.

Anyone got any recommendations? Want something casual but fancy - does that make any sense what so ever?

I know it's a midi dress but I'm 5'2" too and Oasis midi dresses are fine on me.

What about Asos? They do loads of different brands and also have a petite section! You can usually pick up a bargain in the sale too 😊
