I just smelled this for the first time and am perplexed, not to mention disappointed! It smells like a free sample you'd get in a magazine. Anodyne, simple, forgettable. I was expecting great things! I love No. 5 and some of the special editions like Misia and Boy. I'm not sure what they're playing at wth Gabrielle, quite honestly!

It's not very good, is it.

Cheap and generic. They seem to have gone for a crowd pleaser, but it's so insipid.

I got one of the little spray samples in a magazine and both DP and I thought it just smelt like any perfume hall, no specific clear scent, just a very generic perfume smell.

The new Chanel Gabrielle bags on the other hand are gorgeous and have me feeling very covetous. But unlikely to be buying one anytime soon sadly as they are a much bigger treat than a pricey perfume.

I liked the smell but it didn't hang around for very long on my wrist. Its also a very spring-like fragrance, so a strange launch for September. The smallest size they do is 50ml, which is nearly eighty quid. I won't be indulging

I am disappointed in it - I feel like the opening does not go with the dry down and did not feel inspiring at all!
