Bra help

I've just finished breastfeeding so I need new bras. I've just measured with the bra intervention method but I'm not sure what size I would be. My measurement is 32.5 underboob and 42 around the widest part when leaning over. I have been wearing a 34E during breastfeeding which seemed to fit fine so no idea what is going on. What sizes should I try?

Use this calculator booborbust.com/#info_tab

I think a 32H would be the starting point but it is trial and error when trying on different brands and styles.

32H sounds crazy! I just can't imagine that when I was wearing an E. I'll give it a go though.

Well the band size starting point would be 32" and if bust is 42" that 10" difference so;
1" A
2" B
3" C
4" D
5" DD
6" E
7" F
8" FF
9" G
10" H (or GG maybe if that's a size)

I think Grin

Hoping this helps. After G is GG then H HH J and not sure after that.
With a small back and larger cup size I have personally recommend Bravissimo.
I have always found them helpful and with beautiful bras.

My measurements aren't far off yours, and am right at the end of breastfeeding (hopefully - 3.5 years on!) and I couldn't really believe it - I've always worn a 38B or C, maybe a 36D if I've slimmed down. 32G sounded off the scale to me, but it fits beautifully! The magic of bra interventions!

AlpacasPackOwls · 26/09/2017 15:16

I have figured out that I'm a 32G but I can''t find a style that fits me properly. The cup and band fit beautifully according to the Boob or Bust website but there is always something wrong with the rest - too loose at the top so wrinkled, too small so flattens my boob, wires in the cleavage not sitting properly. Going up or down a cup or band size doesn't fix it. I am despairing!! I am almost resigned to the fact that I have really weird boobs that no bra is ever going to fit ever!

I've tried about 20 over different shops, brands etc etc. One sort of fits me by Gossard but it's a strange style that basically none of my clothes will suit because it is too high. What do I do?!?

Could you get to a Bravissimo store? They are very good knowing what will suit your shape.

Viviene · 28/09/2017 20:47

Which brands did you try? I second the Bravissimo suggestion above. It will be the quickest way to check.

Try Freya and Panache if you can.

AlpacasPackOwls · 29/09/2017 21:18

Managed to get to a Bravissimo and I'm sold! They were brilliant. I'm actually a 32FF. I have 2 lovely fitting bras and will be going back for more. Thanks for all the help everyone
