Please help MN massive. I was planning on making something but I've run out of time. I am hosting a party.

Ideal choice would be something from Vivienne Westwood but £££

I quite like this but perhaps it's a bit plain?

I'm a size 18/20 and find ficusing in cleavage (rather than high neck or boxy) most flattering.

I agree you'll feel fab in the Westwood.

Have you looked on Saint Bustier? They have Westwood inspired stuff sometimes - although they may be a bit on-the-knee for you. There's this or this?

Check this one out from TK Maxx. TK is fab for dresses.

@FauxFox I ordered both those dresses to try - thank you!! Lets hope they are good on.

I do like a lot of the Pretty Dresss Co dresses but they only go to an 18 and are crepe not jersey - I don't think they will fit me in the bust.

Get thee to a VW store and splurge for heavens sake Grin

Think of it as an investment heh

BorisTrumpsHair · 24/09/2017 23:39

I went to the VW shop at Worlds End - no dresses. They are out of stock online. SadSad

I really recommend Dolly and Dotty pencil dress.
Very flattering especiallly on larger bust.
Falls just below knee and great fabric.

herecomesthsun · 25/09/2017 06:59

How about Jenny Packham at Debenhams?www.debenhams.com/women/dresses/no-1-jenny-packham

fwiw when I ordered westwood to try on I was disappointed in the material for the price, but it would be great if it came and you liked it!

littlecabbages the Toga dress about at net-a-porter is loads shorter (above the knee) than the one on the VW site. weird.

herecomesthesun yes I was shocked to see the Toga VW dress is 100% polyester - maybe just because it is lace? Some of the Jenny Packham dresses are lovely but I don't want a long/mas dress - just below the knee.

I had to return the 2 black dresses from HoF as they were well above the knee on me.

I had a speed shop in Westfield while dc were at cinema with friend and I ended up with this which I'm really pleased with:

Got in a navy too but I will return that one.

I also got this from Debenhams for another party and loved wearing it:

Pleased to have 2 new dresses that aren't black. Grin

The issa one is fab, well done! (Cant open the other link but sure it's lovely too)

BorisTrumpsHair · 02/10/2017 13:32

Thank you!!!

I'm very pleased with the Issa one - it didn't have much hanger appeal and I picked it up thinking it was a long top/tunic I could maybe wear with leggings. Once I got it on I realised it was a dress. Go me.

here is the other one (bit Bet Lynch but I am OK with that):
