I think I am nervous so trying to distract myself by deciding what to wear...

I am 36 and going back to uni. Feeling very mumsy and a bit tired, my usual style is ...eclectic. I like to stay up to date with trends but like to feel like "me."

what do I wear?! T

I went back to uni at 37. I basically live in hoodies, boyfriend jeans, sneakers. Shorts and t-shirt, Saltwater sandals during the hot months.

Almost everyone on my course wears skinny jeans with converse type shoes. A few have their own 'style' but this seems the norm. I sometimes wear dresses with boots, or bootcut with boots. Summer I wore wide leg trousers and Birkenstocks with vests. I prefer winter wear though!

I was a part time student a few years ago in my mid fifties. Age range was very mixed but young students mostly wore extreme black skinnies with T's, sweatshirts or plaid shirts. You have nothing to fear. Enjoy yourself.

Thanks all. I actually feel sick now! It's nerves but DH is trying to convince me it is excitement!

I am contemplating boyfriend jeans....

Should really think of more productive things to do before tomorrow arrives!

I'm in my 40s and at Uni (second year). Boyfriend jeans, leggings, t-shirts, hoodies...I'm comfortable and I don't even try to compete with the youngsters Grin

FoofFighter · 17/09/2017 16:35

Good luck OP Grin

I've just started at age 44 and I wear what I normally would, leggings dress and boots, or cons and jeans with a jumper. Nobody bats an eyelid at whatever anyone else is wearing, honestly. Just wear what you'd wear normally!

FoofFighter · 17/09/2017 16:35

But no cat ear headbands which seem to be a fave amongst the younger women Hmm

Sunshineandeggshells · 17/09/2017 19:40

I will avoid cat ear headbands! Good to know!
