Stupidly expensive shoes which I love. I need cheaper!

So I love these shoes, and whilst I'm not averse to spending money like there is no tomorrow, this seems a tad excessive!

Has anyone seen anything similar for less??
The trouble is and I know I will get shot by everyone for this - but I don't like the clarks hamble brogue, too low heel and too round toe. These have a good heel height for me.

Please does anyone know of any shoes?

All Saints?

Mbear · 16/09/2017 20:22

No, nothing there, but thank you. I like your vibe of thinking!

You can shave 100ish off in Toast. Anything there catch your eye?

pleasestopsnoring · 16/09/2017 20:41

buy them and tell anyone that asks theyre from an outlet

Mbear · 16/09/2017 20:47

Ha! I have a higher power to answer to which is my credit card company - possibly I may have just spent £££ on some Church's heeled shoes...

Oh those are lovely. Dune have nice lace up shoes, and Russell and Bromley. Also check out the en brogues blog for smaller shoe manufacturers, she does a lot about trainers but if you search through you'll find some good lace ups as well.

Mbear · 16/09/2017 20:50

IdaDown do you know I looked in Toast today! The Esme shoe is better, but it's such a big shoe iyswim.

Oh, those are just beautiful. I can quite see why you love them so much. Dr Martens Henriettas aren't as gorgeous, but they do have a similar sharp, androgynous quality.

Count - Dune have a few that might pass muster, but they always feels so light when I pick them up and the Belstaff ones look like they'd feel a proper weight!

I know I'm weird - I just really want the expensive ones. I should add, I can't buy them as I'm a 6.5 and they only do whole sizes!

Hey Broomstick - they are pretty damn good! Out of stock on asos, but might see if they are out there somewhere. They won't make a noise when I walk though, which I could probably live with.

Do you love them? Then get them. I've just bought a pair of Gucci brogues. They were ££££... but I've wanted them for a while and I know I'll wear them loads this winter.

BroomstickOfLove · 16/09/2017 21:10

I have a pair in Oxblood and they are beautiful, but too narrow in the toe area so they hurt if I wear them all day.

Blondielongie · 16/09/2017 21:18

If you can afford them buy them!

Sorry not helping!

Mbear · 16/09/2017 21:26

Broomstick all I can remember of the one pair of dms I had was the constant rub, but I may have grown out of that by now?

To all those saying buy them a) booooooooooooooooo!! and b) I can't ignore my credit card bill.

Well I can and I might, but not at the mo!

Try Hudson, the Maddie brogue. Not exactly the same but a bit cheaper. I have a pair of their sandals and they are really comfortable and good quality.

Depending on your shoe size you might have luck looking at mend shoes?

BorisTrumpsHair · 17/09/2017 07:14

Men's

Mbear · 17/09/2017 09:05

I have looked at men's but it's just the heel heigh that is the issue - I really want that bit of heel. Thank you.

Hudsons are nice, but agin just that bit too flat.
