Winter shoes help

Can you help me find winter shoes that aren't ankle boots but practical for school run? Love feminine shoes but need warm feet too?

Loafers or Brogues?
You'll need to look at colour and detail to make them especially feminine though.

I'm not into either which is why I'm struggling
