30th Birthday Present Ideas

It's my 30th birthday at the end of January and I'm being asked already what I would like from my other half.

I think I was going to get a channel hand bag or a Rolex watch but I'm now pregnant and due start of Jan so priorities have changed.

I'm genuinely stuck for ideas as we've been fortunate financially and I can usually buy myself something if I want it, not that I'm spoilt or anything. The three extravagent purchases I've ever treated myself to were all from outlets where I got a mulberry Bayswater, a mulberry Lilly and a pair of Cartier sunglasses.

I've been reading some of the posts on here to see what other people are asking for as inspiration and have a couple of ideas, an all saints leather jacket or some Chelsea boots but I'd love to know what you'd ask for if you was in a similar situation to me.

Thank you

I think I'd be inclined to go for jewellery. Something classic like diamond studs if budget allows. Maybe pearls for a lower budget? Very style dependant tho!

it's really personal to you. For my 30th this year I was given a big cashmere wrap and a pair of gold and pearl earrings, both lovely and classic things that will go with everything and not date. I was also
pregnant (now with newborn) so i can't see the cream cashmere getting much of an airing for a while! It's not S&B but I also got a very special piece of art which again I can keep forever and pass along. Don't ask for shoes or boots because you might find your feet grow in pregnancy!

If the budget allows for a Rolex or a nice watch, I'd get that. Or a piece of jewellery (a ring?) That celebrates the birth of your baby too :)

I turned 30 in December and DH got me a Hermes watch I'd been covering for years. I'd opt for a nice watch - they never go out of fashion and should last for a very long time.

I'd go for a good watch or a piece of art.
