Tailored winter coat

Where's good this year?! I usually go with Whistles but nothing is grabbing me this year.

I'm after something tailored, wool, not too long as I'm only 5'4". Am a size 12 with 32F boobs.

I've tried Jigsaw but find their sizes weird.

Budget is about £300. Any other go to places that I don't know about?

Reiss?

Lenny1980 · 16/09/2017 20:24

Hobbs?

Great plains

Plumo

Hobbs

Toast

Mint velvet

I have been looking for a coat.

can you link some? I have tried some of the hobbs, and those that fit me on the chest, are way too big, and I am a 34DD

SlumMumBum · 18/09/2017 08:24

Thank you all for replying - I hadn't thought of Hobbs. The Tia and Tilda coats are exactly what I'm after (don't know how to link on my phone).

I'm going to wear a scarf to hopefully deal with any gape-age due to my boobs.

I haven't looked what they have this year but Ted Baker is generally good for coats, also shorter ones. I know it gets slated on here as selling overpriced polyester but the coats are great I find.

I was on the look out for one last week with the aim of investing some money in one to hopefully cover a few years. But the one that I found fit me best was one I randomly tried on in (whispers) Primark. My shape just didn't seem to match more expensive ones this year for some reason.

What about this? I know it's not pure wool and I've catered more for the boobs side.

JoJoSM2 · 18/09/2017 08:34

Have you tried Bravissimo? Or their Pepperberry line or whatever it's called now? They have clothes with busty ladies in mind so you could find something that fits really well although admittedly it isn't quite the same quality as some of the other brands mentioned here.

My chest is a size larger than my bottom half and I just got lucky in Zara. The coat was less than £100 but it's over 80% wool + some other stuff. It does look just as smart as Reiss or Whistles so worth a punt.
