Scar on face

My DD aged 7 has a scar on her face from where her baby sister cut her by accident, this was about 3 years ago. It was just a finger scratch injury so wasn't deep, but has left a mark. I thought it would fade away but it's quite persistent.

Any recommendations of anything that we can apply to to try and fade it?

Bio oil has always been good for me, I had a scar after surgery to remove a lump and you would wouldn't know it was there unless it's pointed out to you IYKWIM. It's also very good for spot scars.

It's probably too long afterwards to have any effect to be honest.
In large pharmacies or online you can buy sillicone gel blocks to put in it but it has to be worn pretty much continuously to start with I think so probably won't be useful for the face. And is best used as close to the injury as possible.
You could ask your GP for a steroid cream but I think they'd be reluctant given her age and as it's her face.
