Inbetween waxes dilemma

So I am a recent convert to getting my legs waxed. However I am now due to go on holiday and the hair on my legs is too long to leave but too short to go for a wax. Plus it's not all of the hair that would normally grow but it's more than just a few strays I can pluck

So do I:
A) shave and reschedule my next appointment for 4 weeks time
B) epilate and reschedule my appointment for 6 weeks time
C) another hair removal option I've not thought of?

Leaving it is really not an option! We will be going swimming and I am already slightly anxious as I don't know some of the people going so want to feel as comfortable in myself as possible

I'd definitely do A or B. If you can bear epilating, I'd go with that one (personally I can't so A!)

Deffo epilate... if you shave, lots of the hair that is in the resting/non growth phase will be stuck in your legs as microstubble. They'll be there for several weeks/months till the follicle reactivates, the old hair shaft is shed and starts new growth again.

With epilating at least it pulls the hair out from the root, so you retain (most) of the smoothness you get with waxing.
