I am due to start a new role which is a mixture of office/prison/public facing/court I dont know what to wear. My last similar role was over 20 years ago and i literally have nothing. Where do i start? I am guessing i will need a couple of suits but i am in Australia so need lighter options. I am happy to shop online as most places deliver but havent a clue what is fashionable anymore after wearing a uniform for so long. Help 😣

When I lived in Australia 10 years plus ago, Country Road was quite good

It has 25% off at the moment

Country Road
Witchery
Sportscraft
Whistles
Flying to Vietnam and getting it all made (probably cheaper)
Only try Banana Republic or J Crew if you know it fits your shape.

Actually, are you tall or short? What kind of shape? I've listed where I shop in Oz (boring, vaguely legal, quasi government workplace), but I'm normal/short and about Oz 12 (also boring ha).

Thanks for that, i live 3 hours from Perth and dont get there often. I am 5.4 and will be an oz size 12 in a few weeks ( damn you tim tams 😊) I have broad shoulders and hips to match but do have a waist. I just havent got a clue what is fashionable anymore.
