In autumn I wear a lot of tube skirts and dresses which stop just above the knee. For several years I've worn them with coloured opaques and brogues - generally grey or navy tights and tan, navy or burgundy brogues. I've always felt pretty good in them but for some reason this autumn they're just feeling a bit "wrong" somehow. I don't have any black in my wardrobe and wouldn't wear black opaques but I've seen a few people wearing very sheer black tights with brogues and wonder if this is a better look and if coloured opaques are a bit dated?
