Will laser hair removal improve keratosis pilaris?

I have KP on my legs, which caused a lot of ingrown hairs. I'm thinking of getting laser hair removal but if it don't help the KP then there's no much point.

Has anyone with KP had this done and noticed an improvement?

It will help yes! The pores shrink when the hairs are gone, they become invisible and the skin becomes smooth. No bumpy skin any longer!

If the hair is under the bump though how does it get rid of the hair?

I have the philips lumea and the kp on thighs has definately improved due to lack of hair growth. Just need to exfoliate well pre treatment.

Hair does not stay under bump forever. Laser treatment continues for at least a year. At some point hair will be zapped. Exfoliation is a must of course, pretreatment.
