I really want a Tiller coat but £140 is too rich for me... :(

I'm not a fashion person but someone at work was having a similar thing, really wanted a coat from there - this was last year

she was about to buy it telling me they never do discount codes and then I heard of one via Twitter. So they exist. (she was so excited she used part of her discount to buy me flowers!!)

If I see one, I will be sure to put it here!

If it's the waterproof one , the Joules alternative is way cheaper

MegBusset · 12/09/2017 14:30

It's this one - www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/m/clothing/jackets-coats/tiller-short-warm-fleece-lined-raincoat_spice.htm

The cheaper Joules one isn't padded, I don't think

No it isn't , and it's much more yellow to be fair .

Overcooked · 12/09/2017 14:37

I am after the Janelle II coat, do you think the Joules one is better then imjesse?

Overcooked · 12/09/2017 14:41

I'm also after a code, considering the tiller as well, but the light blue one

Snafflebrain · 12/09/2017 19:33

Have a look at seasalt stockists too like John Lewis or outdoor and country - you might get lucky with a voucher code or discount offer not available directly from seasalt. I've also been eyeing up their coata today so I'll pop back if I find a valid code.

If you live near Street there's an outlet shop there. You used to be able to ring the mulberry outlet shop and buy over the phone - perhaps the Sea Salt outlet store would let you do the same.

Tiller jacket £70 in green only here

Haffiana · 12/09/2017 19:42

OOS.

I have this coat. I paid full price. It's honestly one of the nicest coats I've ever worn and it will last years. It's incredibly well made and seems really hard-wearing so far. I LOVE it!

BikeRunSki · 12/09/2017 20:33

Oh, sorry Haffiana.

SesameSparkle · 12/09/2017 20:55

I bought a Tiller from John Lewis last year on boxing day for £70. I still have it, but in the end I didn't like it all that much as it's a bit frumpy and I choose a size a bit too small to get anything much underneath it. Also it's not long enough for me as my legs get cold.

I used to have a janelle, which was a very practical winter walking coat. I'm waiting for a code so I can try the janelle 2. Last year they were a bit mean with the codes, but there was one pretty early in the season - it's worth signing up to their list to be the first to know.

I bought my Tiller last year and LOVE it.
